![]() Paco coats the surfaces of industrial pieces, using different thermal spray processes to make them resistant to wear, corrosion, oxidation or to gain other surface properties. Thermal spray process is a multipurpose method of coating which has a great variety of applications, using a wide range of metallic, ceramic, composite and polymer materials, besides it is very economical. This process is an efficient tool for making surfaces resistant to wear, corrosion and oxidation. The most important applications of thermal spray are reconstruction of old pieces, dimension amendment and improvement of electrical and thermal properties. The main and significant part of our activities is spraying. Having a skillful team including high educated and experienced people, Paco uses the most advanced equipments (Flame, HVOF, APS & Arc). Our staff has done professional engineering researches and industrial activities for more than fifteen years. In recent years, Paco has been in contact with different organizations and companies in order to reconstruct or manufacture ordered pieces. Some of them are:
Different work pieces are small and big babbit bearings, cylinders and shafts, ..., gear box cases, pistons, etc. Paco's equipment are: 1. Complete plasma thermal spraying equipment (APS) In APS process, different advanced materials powders (ceramic, cermet, etc) melt at a high temperature (from 10000 to 20000K). Then the carrier gas sprays the molten material onto the surface and it rapidly solidifies. Therefore, the surface won't get that warm and no thermal stress is produced. The coating is steady and adherent, with a high quality. Now the strength of the piece against environmental deteriorations is multiplied. Supporting wide ranges of spraying and very high surface quality are other advantages. |
